Products and Services
Millennium Inorganic Chemicals provides numerous products and services for a variety of industries around the world.
From coatings to paper……. polymers to pigments, our products and services are used to improve everyday life….a brighter paint, a tighter seal, a special ink.
Thousands of products in our world -- from plastic bags to aerospace parts – get their start with help from Millennium Inorganic Chemicals.
The Stallingborough Plant produces titanium dioxide (TiO2), a bright white powder made from titanium ore that has the ability to pigment virtually any material. TiO2 makes possible the opacity, brightness and durability in paint formulas that have made modern paints cost efficient, easier to use and friendlier to the environment. TiO2 also gives plastics and rubber opacity and whiteness. It is used in such diverse products as printing inks, paper, cosmetics, ceramics, soaps, sunscreens, glass, leather, synthetic fibres and colours formulated for art prints.
The Stallingborough Plant
The Stallingborough Plant is located in North East Lincolnshire, 7 miles from Grimsby on the south bank of the River Humber. The plant occupies a 160 hectare site and is the largest volume TiO2 facility in Europe. Circa 400 people are employed at the site and we support a regular contractor population from a range of local companies.
At the Stallingborough plant we take our social responsibilities to heart maintaining an open door for community dialogue and actively working to support community needs through community outreach, education, volunteerism and charitable donations.
Our commitment as a socially responsible company means that we operate our facilities in a manner that protects people and the environment and preserves our world for future generations. Millennium Inorganic Chemicals is committed to continuous improvement in safety, security, environmental performance, reliability and open communication.
